Or, some love natural springs as the perfect day away. About an hour from St. Johns you will find the crystal clear blue waters of Ginnie Springs which flows out to the Santa Fe River. The spring remains a constant 72 degrees year-round and is a playground for swimmers, snorkelers, tubers and divers alike.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and settle in for a night by the sea listening to music. It doesn’t get much better than this on a hot summer night with St. Augustine’s Music & Art by the Sea; May 25 through September 21, at St. Augustine Beach Pier St. Augustine Beach Pier.
