DECEMBER FEATURED ARTIST 
AT BUTTERFIELD GARAGE

Born a fourth generation Floridian, Sam Kates continues to search for subjects that harken back to “old Florida”. His paintings of ancient sand dunes and rust stained shrimp boats depict what he discovers in coastal state parks and in the few remaining old Florida communities like Cedar Key, Carrabelle, East Point and Apalachicola. 5-7 p.m. on December 3rd, and the artist talk will be at 6 p.m. (First Friday). FIRST FRIDAY ARTWALK

Join Art Galleries of St. Augustine the first Friday of every month from 5-9 p.m. for new exhibits, refreshments and live music at many participating galleries. Patrons and visitors can enjoy the complimentary shuttle service that runs from 6-9 p.m. provided by Old Town Trolleys. To use this service, shuttle stickers may be picked up at any participating AGOSA gallery. St Augustine 
CHRISTMAS PARADE

Experience St. Augustine's annual Christmas Parade with floats, marching bands, cars, horses and the arrival of Santa. The parade starts at 9 a.m. by the Mission Nombre de Dios off San Marco Avenue and continues through the downtown streets of historic St. Augustine. 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM For more information email LAevents7@gmail.com.

PALM VALLEY BOAT PARADE

Enjoy this annual tradition of lighted boats to celebrate the holiday season in Ponte Vedra Beach. The parade route is seven miles of the Intracoastal and starts one mile south of the Palm Valley Bridge and travels north. It begins at 6 p.m. 904-395-5217 www.palmvalleyboatparade.com

"THE LION KING JR." 
LIVE FROM THE AMP

Based on the much-loved animated classic, The Lion King Jr. follows young Simba on his coming of age journey from frisky cub to leader of the Pridelands. This 80-minute, family-friendly musical features hits including “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matada,” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight.” Doors open at 6 p.m., performance begins at 6:30 p.m. at The AMP, 1340 A1A South, St. Augustine. REGATTA OF LIGHTS

Join the community on the bayfront north of the Bridge of Lions for the annual Regatta of Lights boat parade. Watch the brilliant displays of brightly lit boats pass by decorated in everything from whimsical to patriotic themes. The Regatta is free and open to the public and starts at 6 p.m.

Nutcracker Ballet

Community Nutcracker presents the 30th anniversary performance of The Nutcracker Ballet at the Florida Theatre. Frozen Jr. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, bringing Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film and five new songs written for the Broadway production. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. The 60th Anniversary of the St. Augustine Orchestra, Sounds of the Season features Holiday favorites; Sleigh Ride, Frosty the Snowman, Music from FROZEN, Carol of the Bells, Charlie Brown Christmas, Sleigh Ride, T'was the Night Before Christmas with special guest, narrator Lee Weaver and more. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre welcomes back the Venardos Circus! Created by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster Kevin Venardos, the Venardos Circus wraps world-class circus acts into a Broadway Musical-style format that is called “the American Circus with the heart of a Broadway Show.” Shows run Wednesday through Sunday for the entire engagement, with multiple show times on weekends. What better way to ring in the new year than with this classic Verdi masterpiece, fully staged with orchestra? First Coast Opera presents one of the most iconic, romantic and tragic scores of all time at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College. LIGHT UP THE NIGHT! 
FIREWORKS & BEACH BLVD. BLOCK PARTY 

Enjoy the fireworks from multiple locations at this year's Fireworks & Beach Blvd. Block Party! This community-based celebration offers a true taste of St. Augustine Beach. The block party takes place at businesses along A1A Beach Blvd. The block party is happening all day with businesses along the Blvd. offering discounts, live music and other specials, fireworks start at 8:30 p.m. Parking is limited and participants are encouraged to carpool. Limited parking available at St. Johns Ocean Pier Park or any of the designated parking areas along 16th Street.
