Bird Walk for Beginners at 

Fort Caroline National Memorial
Fort Caroline is a great migration hot spot - part of the National Park Service’s Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve; some of the last untouched coastal habitat in northeast Florida. We will bird around the park. Depending on the time of year, we might see painted buntings, migrant warblers, a number of woodpecker species and two or three types of vireo. 904 Naturalists Series ~ Exploring the Life of Mammals

In Exploring the Life of Mammals, we will get to know six different mammals indigenous to Northeast Florida both in and out of the classroom. Be prepared to write, draw, envision, and possibly track an animal of your choice, in your own way. The Art of Pop: A Warhol 
Dinner Party

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, 829 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, Florida 32204. Celebrate the start of 2020 and the Museum’s recent acquisition of works by artist and pop-culture icon, Andy Warhol. Join us as we journey back to 1977, when pant legs were big and disco ruled the world! We will honor this legendary American artist and reimagine the Terry Gallery as our very own Studio 54. The 10th Annual Saint Augustine 

Film Festival (SAFF) runs January 16 – 19 with movies at Lewis Auditorium, Corazon Cinema & Café and Gamache-Koger Theater.  Tickets to individual films are $10 Gen Admission and $8 seniors (60 & up).  There are three different Film Badges: ALL ACCESS provides entrance to all films at any venue plus the four parties (see below) for $180; ALL FILM provides entrance to all films at any venue $120; LEWIS provides entrance to all films at Lewis Auditorium and Gamache-Koger $70.The Festival will show 21 Feature Films, 10 Documentaries and 11 Shorts plus a selection of Flagler College student films. www.StAugFilmFest.com.

Experience a new perspective of the Old Spanish Quarries at Anastasia State Park in relation to the famous Castillo de San Marcos, and the survival of Saint Augustine. Join us in discovering the wonderful sea turtles of Anastasia State Park! You will learn about how we identify the turtle nests, hatching, and the great journey they begin after leaving the beach and the dangers they encounter in our oceans. This is a fun filled, energetic program about these miraculous animals who have been on Earth for millions of years! February 1st
Creekside High School Band 
Community Yard Sale!

The band at Creekside High School is the largest organization in the school with over 200 band members, and they are still wearing uniforms from when the school opened in 2008!  The Band Boosters are having a yard sale and all proceeds will go towards the purchase of new marching band uniforms.  Please come shop with us and support the band, coffee and donuts will also be available for purchase.  9am – 2pm at the Creekside High School parking lot (100 Knights Lane, Saint Johns FL 32259)
