Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! At the St. Augustine Amphitheatre
Join the whole Schoolhouse Rock gang as we sing and dance our way through the curriculum November 6 at 7P in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The Murray Performing Arts Department will have you dancing in the aisles with Schoolhouse Rock favorites like I’m Just a Bill, Three is a Magic Number, Conjunction Junction, Inter-planet Janet and so many more. Brew at the Zoo Jax
Delicious food and drink vendors from around Jacksonville, live music, games, and more in the amazing setting of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. All proceeds from the event benefit the care and feeding of our 2,000 animals and over 1,000 plants.Guests will enjoy unlimited tastes of over 150 craft and import beers, spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, and sample food from local restaurants. The End of World War I - 100th anniversary event
Public · Hosted by Mandarin Museum & Historical Society
This event will take place at the Mandarin Museum in Walter Jones Historical Park, 11964 Mandarin Road. The special presentation with the Mandarin High School NJROTC Color Guard and speaker/author Paul Ghiotto is at 11:00 am. Light-Up! Night, the official start of Nights of Lights
Festivities begin at 4:00pm with a spirited performance by Showtime USA, a high energy song and dance troupe of young people that deliver a wide variety of holiday musical favorites. Showtime’s performance will be in front of St. Augustine’s City Hall, the Lightner Museum, 75 King St.

Then at 5:30pm from the historic Plaza de la Constitución Gazebo, the All Star Orchestra takes the stage with great swing and big band sounds all in grand holiday style.

At 6:30pm, the lighting ceremony begins that culminates with the turning of a switch that fills every corner of the city with brilliant, magical holiday sparkle. Entertainment continues in the Plaza until 8:00pm as thousands gathered for the lighting ceremony linger in the downtown area to start their holiday shopping, have dinner the company of good friends, or to simply enjoy the beauty of the city in the glow of millions of while lights.  (904) 825-1006 for information

St. Augsutine Art Association Art and Craft Festival

ENJOY live music produced by the Gamble Rogers Folk Music Festival, cultural displays, artist demos, food trucks, beers and wines, and the popular downtown Nights of Lights!  SHOP On Sunday, Bath Fitters is putting purchase power in your hands with on-the-hour drawings for a $100 gift certificate to use at any artist booth during the Festival weekend (must be present to win) PLAY Hands-on activities at the Hyundai Kids Art Zone, a visit from Santa Claus and prize drawings for the whole family make the St. Augustine Art & Craft Festival a fun start to the holiday season!  SUPPORT This two-day event benefits the programs of the St. Augustine Art Association (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization), while animating the art scene and boosting the local economy.

2018 Jacksonville Light Boat Parade
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. John River. Residents and visitors alike gather along the north and south riverbanks in downtown Jacksonville to witness this magical event. The evening then culminates with one of the best fireworks show on the First Coast featuring “waterfalls” off of the Main Street and Acosta Bridges. The boat parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. Boats will start at Metropolitan Park and follow along the Northbank Riverwalk to the Fuller Warren Bridge. The parade will then cross to the south bank and follow along the Riverwalk to the Duval County School Board building www.jacksonvillelanding.com/event/jacksonville-light-boat-parade/
