Dolphin Paddle on Salt Run
Join Anastasia Watersports and Marineland Dolphin Adventure as we team up to offer a fun-filled interpretive paddle of Salt Run. Our estuarine tidal marsh is teeming with plant and animal life - hop into a kayak, paddle onto Salt Run, and keep an eye for birds, turtles, manatees, and especially dolphins. Together the Anastasia Watersports staff and the Marineland educators will provide illuminating details about our ecosystem and its wildlife, with a special focus on bottlenose dolphins. The event will start with 30 minutes of classroom discussion, followed by 90 minutes of paddling. Come out and enjoy real, undiscovered Florida!  $40/person, includes boat rental $25/person, provide your own boat

This event takes place on a Saturday (rain or shine). Enjoy an awesome afternoon filled with family fun, food and friendship. Fall Oyster Roast
12-3P Locally-Harvested, Freshly-Roasted St. Augustine Oysters. Seafood Chowder, Pilau, Crab Bisque, Chili, and freshly-baked Desserts. Come early for best selection. $40 per admission (age 9 and over). Kids 8 and under eat free, with hot dogs available. Each reservation will provide two tickets for your choice of draft beer and/or wine. Knives and towels provided for oyster-eaters. Reservations must be paid in advance and will be accepted until November 2 or until the event is sold out (400 people).  Golf cart parking shuttle service will be provided. 10am -3pm Celebrate Volusia County's native animals during Wildlife Fest! Join us to meet glove-trained birds of prey, observe sea turtles undergoing lifesaving rehabilitation, and visit booths staffed by nature groups and crafters. Fun for the whole family! Our signature event, the Mandarin Council Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off is a big draw in our community. This is our main fundraiser to support our school and community outreach programs. Jacksonville Light Boat Parade 
6:30-9:30pm Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. John River. Residents and visitors alike gather along the north and south riverbanks in downtown Jacksonville to witness this magical event. The evening then culminates with one of the best fireworks show on the First Coast featuring “waterfalls” off of the Main Street and Acosta Bridges.  The boat parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. Boats will start at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel and follow along the Northbank Riverwalk to the Fuller Warren Bridge. The parade will then cross to the south bank and follow along the Riverwalk to the Duval County School Board building. More info at www.JaxLightBoatParade.com
