St. Johns Magazine was first published in 2012 with the goal of connecting the growing communities of northern St. Johns with a magazine and website that would be about everything local - the people, places, businesses and events that make St. Johns an amazing place to live.

This was when northern St. Johns had just begun to expand and there was a need for newcomers and long time residents alike to learn about what was happening in their community.

As the Publisher of St. Johns Magazine over the years, I have worked with hundreds of local northeast Florida businesses to help them market their brand effectively to our community. Many of our advertisers have been in the magazine for over a decade and I am honored to have built these lasting relationships by delivering a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

I have lived in St. Johns for 13 years now and every day I am so thankful for this community, its natural beauty and the people who make it so special.

I've owned and operated three magazines over the past two decades, including St. Johns Magazine for twelve years.I have a passion for working with local entrepreneurs to craft compelling messages and visually dynamic designs that get them noticed and, most importantly, build meaningful connections with their audience.

​A Passion for Family, Travel & the Beach


I am the mom of triplets (two girls and a boy) plus one. (Although my children are adults now and we are officially "empty-nesters"! ) As a mom, I wanted a career that allowed me to be present for my children while also pursuing my passions. With a background in journalism and teaching, launching my first magazine, The Capital District Kid’s Directory in 2005 was the perfect way to blend creativity with flexibility and freedom while serving the community where I lived.

I spend my spare time with my family (usually involves eating!), going to the beach to swim and enjoy the beauty, peace and tranquility of the ocean, and traveling the world with my family.  There's a magic in experiencing different cultures, a magic my husband, a history teacher, and I deeply cherish. From the romantic allure of Italy, Spain, and France, to the vibrant energy of South Korea, Japan, and Thailand, each journey leaves us with a profound appreciation for the world's diverse stories.


Suzanne Klingemann

Account Executive & Community Ambassador
​Suzanne was born in St. Louis, MO and made her way to Julington Creek in sunny St. Johns in 2020, where she now lives with her husband and three children (24, 22 & 20) and dog Coco. She has a true passion for connecting with others and building relationships in the community. Whether it’s chatting with a small business owner or discovering a hidden local gem, Suzanne thrives on bringing people together and sharing stories that inspire.

Before moving to Florida, Suzanne owned a jewelry business in Wisconsin and was deeply involved in local business organizations. Her professional background spans across jewelry, fashion, and interior design—industries where creativity and connection go hand in hand.

With a degree in interior design from Maryville University in St. Louis, and an eye for beauty in the unexpected, Suzanne launched Furniture Revival Chic in Julington Creek. Her business is all about giving forgotten furniture a second chance—restoring, reviving, and transforming pieces into something truly special.

In her free time, Suzanne enjoys traveling, needlepointing and antiquing, and shopping at local boutiques.  She's passionate about supporting local businesses and loves being part of the vibrant St. Johns Magazine community.
