Here to Serve
Local Businesses

Who. What. Why. How

Helping small businesses grow
is at our core.

Work with Us!

Who We Help
At St. Johns Magazine, we shine a spotlight on the tastemakers, trailblazers, and community champions who make northern St. Johns extraordinary. Our readers are locals who crave inspiration, connection, and a beautifully curated look at life in our vibrant corner of Florida. Our advertisers are forward-thinking local businesses eager to meet them where they are — in print, online, and at the heart of community life.

Crafting the Connection
We don’t just place ads; we create stories. Through compelling editorial, and strategic distribution, we connect businesses with the very people who want what they offer. Every feature, every photograph, every page is designed to elevate our clients while engaging readers with content that feels fresh, modern, and relevant.

How We are Different
St. Johns Magazine isn’t a throwaway mailer or a noisy digital scroll. It’s a  publication crafted with the intimacy of a local journal. We blend national-level polish with hometown heart — meaning your brand is always seen in the most flattering light.

Stories that speak for themselves
For over a decade, St. Johns Magazine has been the trusted voice of northern St. Johns, with advertisers who return year after year and readers who tell us they love us. Our blend of editorial storytelling and targeted reach has built reputations, launched businesses, and forged connections that last well beyond the page.

How You Can Work With Us
It begins with a conversation — about your story, your goals, and the audience you most want to reach. From there, we tailor a plan that may include traditional advertising, as well as sponsored content that will be seen both in print and online at www.stjohnsmag.com.

Partnering with St. Johns Magazine isn’t just about reserving space — it’s about stepping into a community, with your brand woven into the narrative of life in St. Johns.

Debbie Gaylord
A Passion for Publishing

After launching her first magazine in 2005 while raising a young family, Debbie discovered a creative calling she’s never stepped away from. Publishing became the rare intersection where artistry, entrepreneurship, and the cultivation of fresh ideas could coexist.

In 2012, after falling in love with the St. Augustine area and moving to St. Johns, she founded St. Johns Magazine as a publication dedicated to celebrating the people, businesses, and stories that shape life in St. Johns. More than a decade later, her work continues to reflect a deep appreciation for thoughtful storytelling rooted in place, creativity, and connection.

Over the years, Debbie has developed and published several titles, including The Capital District Kids Directory (2005), Our Towne Rensselaer (2010), St. Johns Magazine (2012), and most recently St. Johns Woman Magazine (2026). She holds a Master’s degree in Women’s History from the University at Albany, lived abroad teaching ESOL in South Korea, and previously worked as a history teacher and for the New York State Legislature.

Originally from the Capital District in upstate New York, she first moved to Florida in 1998, and now lives in beautiful  northern St. Johns with her husband. She is also the mother of four young adults, including triplets. Outside of publishing, Deborah finds inspiration through travel (especially to Italy!), yoga, reading, creative writing, and spending time at the beach.
