Set to a symphonic score and using the artist's own dreams, thoughts, and words to drive the experience as a narrative, Van Gogh's art comes to life by appearing and disappearing, flowing across multiple surfaces and heightening the senses with their immense detail. October is National Sensory Processing Awareness Month and the St. Augustine Art Association is once again hosting the Tactile exhibit with the Florida DeafBlind Association and Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. The annual Tactile Art Show turns the tables on museum etiquette and creates a fun and interactive opportunity for visitors to experience art in a unique way. Visually appealing but also engaging for the blind and visually impaired, the art in this exhibit includes sculptures, assemblages, ceramics, fiber, and other media.
