Anastasia State Park Let's Talk Turtle 1pm. Wonderful sea turtles of Anastasia State Park! You will learn about how we identify the turtle nests, hatching, and the great journey they begin after leaving the beach and the dangers they encounter in our oceans. This is a fun filled, energetic program about these wonderful animals who have been on Earth for millions of years! February 16th Jacksonville Manatee Festival 10am- 2pm. Live music, food, manatee education, Mad Mana-tea Party in Range of the Jaguar, games on the Great Lawn, and more! Along with fun and interactive themes, markets include over 70 local vendors offering organic produce, herbs, spices, delicious unique foods, crafts, jewelry and more! For the kids- crafts and a bounce house. For the adults, a bar serving beer and wine. February 16th Jacksonville Lantern Parade 5-9pm. The glowing display of color will literally shine a light on the heart of Jacksonville and everyone is invited! Participation is free to the public. All we ask is that each participant carry something that GLOWS, TWINKLES, or SHINES.
