St. Johns Magazine Unveils a New Era of Luxury and Legacy

ST. JOHNS, FL — St. Johns Magazine, the premier publication celebrating life in northern St. Johns, announces an exciting new chapter in its evolution. Beginning with the January 2026 issue, the magazine will debut a luxurious redesign featuring thicker, premium paper and perfect-bound finishing, reflecting the county’s refined growth and elevated lifestyle. In addition to the new look, the magazine will introduce a hybrid distribution model that combines targeted direct mail to the area’s most affluent neighborhoods across 4 zip codes with strategic placement at 200+ high-traffic lifestyle destinations, ensuring both prestige and expanded community reach.

“For more than a decade, we’ve told the stories that matter most to our residents — stories that capture the essence of community and connection,” said Publisher Debbie Gaylord. “But as St. Johns has flourished into one of Florida’s most desirable and affluent counties, it’s time our magazine reflects that same elevated lifestyle. This transformation is about more than aesthetics; it’s about honoring our community with a publication worthy of its growth.”

A Community Evolving — And a Magazine Rising With It

St. Johns County continues to experience remarkable growth, with its population projected to expand by another 20% by 2029, following a gain of 69,000 residents in the last five years.¹ The county’s median household income now exceeds $106,000, with select neighborhoods in the magazine’s curated distribution averaging $130,000+ per household.¹ Over 57% of residents hold a bachelor’s degree or higher,¹ creating a discerning and engaged audience that values both authenticity and sophistication — the perfect readership for St. Johns Magazine’s new direction.

The upgraded format will feature richer storytelling, refined photography, and deeper local insight — spotlighting the visionaries, leaders, and legacy-makers shaping the future of St. Johns.

“By transitioning to a luxurious, perfect-bound format printed on rich, premium paper, we’re creating a magazine that mirrors the essence of modern St. Johns,” said Gaylord. “This change is our promise to advertisers — your brand will be showcased in an environment of enduring value, reaching communities from Ponte Vedra and Nocatee to Fruit Cove and Rivertown. It’s a publication meant to be read, kept, and displayed.”

Luxury Still Lands at Home

Beginning January 2026, St. Johns Magazine will be direct-mailed to the highest-value neighborhoods across four zip codes — 32259, 32081, 32092, and 32095 — with average home values exceeding $1 million.

In addition, the magazine will be available at 200+ premium drop locations across six zip codes (adding 32082 and 32084) — including spas, salons, boutiques, restaurants, cafés, medical offices, and lifestyle destinations where readers naturally gather and linger.

This hybrid of targeted direct mail and strategic placement ensures that advertisers receive both precision and prestige, maximizing visibility among St. Johns County’s most influential residents.
A Legacy Redefined“Our goal is to create a publication that stands the test of time — as beautiful, dynamic, and enduring as the community it serves,” said Gaylord. “We invite our readers and advertisers to join us in this exciting new chapter as we redefine what a local magazine can be.”
