If an African safari has been on your bucket list, consider this your sign to start planning. A luxury safari is more than just a vacation—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure filled with breathtaking wildlife, stunning landscapes, and deeply immersive cultural experiences. And yes, safaris should be booked well in advance—I'm personally heading on my own luxury safari in Tanzania in November 2026!

Tanzania: A Safari Dream Destination
Tanzania offers some of the most iconic safari experiences in Africa. From the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater to the vast plains of the Serengeti, it’s where luxury meets the wild in the most spectacular way. Imagine sipping a sundowner while watching elephants roam the horizon or waking up to the distant call of lions from the comfort of a five-star tented lodge.
For my upcoming trip, I’ll be exploring multiple regions with private guides and staying at hand-selected luxury lodges that balance sustainability, service, and safari excellence. Think outdoor soaking tubs, gourmet meals under the stars, and intimate game drives where you'll spot the Big Five in their natural habitat.

Family or Adult-Only? Choose the Right Safari
While safaris can be an incredible experience for families, not all lodges or tours are kid-friendly. Some have strict age limits due to safety and the nature of game drives. That’s why working with a knowledgeable travel advisor is essential—I help families choose the best properties with family tents, cultural activities, and guides who specialize in engaging younger guests. On the other hand, adult-only safaris offer a more serene, romantic, and slower-paced atmosphere, perfect for honeymoons or milestone celebrations.

Timing is Everything
One of the most important aspects of planning an African safari is selecting the right time of year. Weather patterns, animal migrations, and park conditions all vary by season and region. For instance, the Great Migration in the Serengeti typically peaks between July and October. Meanwhile, November—when I’m going—is ideal for fewer crowds and lush green landscapes, though you may experience occasional rains.

Why Book With a Safari Expert
Planning a safari is not a one-size-fits-all experience. From choosing the right camps and internal flights to navigating visa requirements and packing essentials, expert guidance ensures a seamless and safe journey. I work closely with top safari operators to customize every detail, whether you’re traveling as a couple, family, or group of friends.
