SHEARWATER'S TOTAL LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE: A WINNING COMBINATION
EXPANDING RESORT-STYLE AMENITIES
The focal point of Shearwater is the Kayak Club, an amenities epicenter that includes a large clubhouse, an expansive Fitness Lodge, lap pool, resort-style pool, the longest lazy river in Northeast Florida, The Perch 3-story waterslide tower, playground, sports fields and four illuminated Har-Tru tennis courts. The Hub, a Wi-Fi café within the Kayak Club that serves grab-n-go food items, offers Shearwater residents a convenient gathering space to connect with each other and the wider world. Recently, Shearwater debuted its new neighborhood, The Falls, with several amenities, including Falls Park; the Falls loop trail that enhances the community’s already robust trail network; Shearwater’s first dog park, which includes one fenced park for large dogs and one for smaller dogs; and a community garden for residents to plant flowers, herbs and vegetables year-round. Falls Park, Shearwater’s newest and most expansive park, is centrally located in the heart of Shearwater and offers four-acres worth of outdoor opportunities including a lake overlook pavilion, shaded picnic pavilion, a tot lot, an event lawn and multi-purpose paved pathways. TIMELESS HOME DESIGNS FROM QUALITY HOMEBUILDERS Shearwater offers prospective homebuyers the freedom to choose from over 60+ different home designs from seven quality builders: David Weekley Homes, Dream Finders Homes, Lennar Homes, Richmond American Homes, Mastercraft Builder Group, Drees Homes and most recently, Toll Brothers. Each builder brings their timeless style to create a variety of design choices from bungalow to craftsman and coastal to farmhouse. SHEARWATER WELCOMES TOLL BROTHERS
Late last year, Shearwater announced Toll Brothers, the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes, as the latest addition to the community’s builder team. Toll Brothers is building single-family homes in The Falls at Shearwater. Each home will be built with the outstanding quality, craftsmanship and value for which Toll Brothers is known. The builder’s signature home designs, which include large porches and a focus on outdoor living spaces, directly align with Shearwater’s architectural objectives aimed at connecting residents to nature and one another. DAVID WEEKLEY BUILDS FIRST TOWNHOMES One of Shearwater’s homebuilders, David Weekley Homes, recently began construction on the community’s first townhomes in The Cove neighborhood. Ranging in size from 1,563 – 2,543 sq. ft. with 2-3 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms, the townhomes provide low-maintenance living just steps from the Kayak Club amenity center. Townhomes start in the mid-$200,000s and are selling now. (see photo above) A COMPLETE LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE The Shearwater lifestyle is more than just great amenities, it’s about bringing those amenities to life by integrating them with a variety of activities that bring neighbors closer together. Shearwater’s full-time Lifestyle Director, Dylan Read, leads the community’s unique approach to lifestyle programming and activities. The Lifestyle Director works with Shearwater’s residents directly to develop events and activities that fit their interests, ranging from casual coffee dates and specific fitness classes to community concerts and large, signature events. Annual traditions ranging from an Easter Egg Blast, Pups & Pints animal adoption event, Winter Festival, Endless Summer and Haunted Boardwalk offer multiple events for residents to look forward to throughout the year.
