Ancient City Road Runners Summer Camp

 Ancient City Road Runners Summer Running Camp to your site?  We are holding this during the week of July 1 from 7.30am to Noon each day.  We are holding it at Trinity Parish downtown St. Aug (215 St. George Street).  It is open to middle & high school kids.  The coach will be Josh Morton from St. Augustine High School.  Cost is $120 and we have a few scholarships also.  The site for registration is:

Description

Summer Running Camp for Middle and High Schoolers held at historic Trinity Parish downtown St. Augustine.With Coach Josh Morton Head Track and Field & Cross-Country Coach  ASCM Certified Personal Trainer* Limited Spots Available *Each day we will have a warm-up and run through historic Lincolnville.  We will also cover the following topics:

• Run safety, nutrition, conditioning
• Types of running: track, road, and trail
• Yoga, flexibility, stress relief
• Injury prevention and recovery
• Friday race prep for the Bridge of Lions 5k on July 8, 2023
• Parents are free to join workout sessions 

We will prepare to run the Bridge of Lions 5k on July 13th 2024.  Participants of the camp will get a $10 discount and can register for Bridge of Lions 5k at the following link:

All camp participants will receive a t-shirt and other goodies!  Because ACRR's Mission is to promote running/walking as part of a healthy lifestyle, we strongly encourage families to run together.  Because of this, we are including a family membership to Ancient City Road Runners!

ST JOHNS COUNTY 4-H SUMMER DAY CAMPS
 
Registration is now open for the St. Johns County 4-H Summer Day camps starting on March 15th.  Camps are for ages 5-18, (age as of September 1, 2023).  Archery, sewing, science and gardening are just a few of the camp topics that will be offered.  To register or find out more information about the summer day camps go to:   https://sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/stjohns/4-h-youth-development/4-h-events-and-activities    4-H is a youth development program that enables youth to develop life skills, leadership and citizenship. . CAMP APEX A summer experience which encourages young theatre artists to discover what we already know: they are amazingly creative, endlessly curious, passionate human beings. Each one of our core action words: Challenge, Explore, Invent, Create provides the jumping off point for our summer workshops.  We offer weekly day camps (ages 8-14) during the summer in Musical Theatre, Improvisation, Stage Combat and Comic Books.  Our upper division (ages 14-21) presents a complete summer season of musicals and plays at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Summer is a critical out-of-school time when children benefit from enriched learning and unique adventures. That’s why YMCA camps offer activities that engage both the body and mind. ​Anastasia Watersports

​Looking for a fun way for children to learn how to kayak and paddle board, and sail this summer? Discover watersports, hike through salt marshes, and explore the beaches during our second annual Anastasia Watersports Camp! Designed for children 9-12 years, campers will explore aquatic activities, develop basic paddling skills, and develop an appreciation for the ecology of oceans, estuaries, and tidal marshes. Anastasia Watersports is located within beautiful Anastasia State Park.

Camp runs Monday through Thursday. The cost is $300.00 for the camp and includes lunch, drinks, and 2 snacks. We do offer sibling discounts.
Five sessions are available: June 17-20, June 24-27, July 8-11, July 15-18, and July 22-25.

BeaTPAC is a performing arts summer camp created with the purpose of enriching and encouraging cultural development in St. Johns County.  The staff is comprised of an energetic and talented group of instructors, counselors, and support staff.

BeaTPAC was founded in 2005 as a senior project. With the guidance and leadership of Ava, Leia, and Juliet Fixel the project turned into the BeaTPAC we all know and love today.

The first year of BeaTPAC had 20 campers broken into two age groups. We have seen many instructors and counselors come and go but with the unending passion of the Fixels BeaTPAC now has almost 200 campers that are broken up into seven age groups. For members of the BeaTPAC Family, BeaTPAC is indeed the highlight of their summer.

About the Camp:
July 29 to August 2 and will feature distinguished faculty, including the Organ Scholar from Westminster Abbey in London.

The camp is open to children entering grades three through eight, and will not only encourage students to develop their vocal skills, but will also help them look at their day-to-day musical preferences with fresh eyes.

Both the chorister program and the chorister camp are affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM), which was founded in 1927 to train musicians at a high level in the sacred music tradition. Currently, the RSCM has affiliates around the globe, providing curriculum and support to church musicians across denominational lines.


New singers will build basic music skills that open up worlds of experience, even if they’re just singing along to their favorite Spotify playlist. Experienced musicians, even those with little vocal training, will benefit from musical cross-training in ways that enhance their weekly piano, violin, or trumpet lessons.


Chorister Camp begins each day at 9:00 am, with breakfast available at 8:30. Pickup is at 3:00 pm. The camp fee is $300, with a $50 early bird discount before June 1. The fee includes all instructional material, lunch, and two snacks each day. Scholarships are available. No faith background or musical experience is required. Sign up soon, as space is limited and spots are filling quickly.
