Shrimp and Suds 
Craft Beer Festival
6-9 pm; at Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 301 A Philip Randolph Blvd, Jacksonville.  Guests will be able to enjoy unlimited free samples of craft beers, including those from Northeast Florida's local breweries.  VIP ticket holders will be able to enter at 5 p.m. Attendees receive unlimited drink samples of the beers at the event. Food, including the Shrimp & Pulled Pork Nachos, as seen on the Travel Channel’s Food Paradise, will be available for purchase.  Tickets available at www.jaxshrimp.com for $40 each. VIP admission is $50

August 8th -11th
Jacksonville Carnival 2019
Celebrating all Caribbean cultures, the Jacksonville Caribbean Carnival features everything from a street parade featuring Caribbean costumes and music, to an elaborate food festival highlighting all the flavors and aromas of Caribbean food, as well as Caribbean craft displays and catchy steel drum music, ending with a live Caribbean stage concert.. The festive parade begins at 12:00pm, from the corner of 1st Street & A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard, then proceeds to the Food, Craft and Music Festival, and concert, at Metro Park 2,  1410 Gator Bowl Blvd. For more information and times visit www.jacksonvillecarnival.com

Night at the Zoo - Adults Only
Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens 370 Zoo Pkwy, Jacksonville, Florida 3221
Theme is Dancing Through the Decades!  Get the party started with local food trucks, a cash bar, and music from the '90s and '00s with Bread & Butter. From there, Rickroll your way to Range of the Jaguar to hear the '80s tunes that sweet dreams are made of. After enjoying an '80s flashback, head to funky town on the Great Lawn where a DJ will be playing classic songs from the '60s and '70s that will make you twist and shout. To lasso the evening all together, you can take your drinks down the old town road and dance your britches off with Neon Whiskey in our Asian Bamboo Gardens, featuring country hits from all eras. Bee Friends Farm Honey Bee Festival

Bee Friends Farm is celebrating National Honey Bee Day with our second annual Honey Bee Festival!  Hang out on National Honey Bee day in the air-conditioned Fairgrounds (near Manifest Distilling and Intuition Ale Works). Shop over 60 local vendors in our Buzy Bee Marketplace, join your child in our Bee a Kid Zone, learn the basics of beekeeping in our Honey Bee Education Annex and taste and buy local Florida honey in our Bee Friends Farm Honey Tasting Bar. The Buzy Bee Marketplace features over 60 amazing local producers

Turtles of Florida
Hosted by SJC Parks & Recreation at Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library; 101 Library Blvd, Ponte Vedra Beach; Join Park Naturalist Kelly Ussia on Wednesday, August 21 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for Turtles of Florida, a family-friendly presentation about the different turtles found throughout the State of Florida. Ever wonder about the turtles in the pond behind your house? Or the tortoise you saw walking around the park? Taste of Jacksonville
Hall of Fame World Golf Village.
1-7pm, The Walk of Champions is a beautiful spot to enjoy the day and local food vendors showcasing the unique tastes from all over the North Florida area!
